Follow this link to see the Excel file I have set up for our coaching efficiency document that I set up so that I don't have to calculate all of this by hand at the last minute at the end of the season:

Also, go onto the Yahoo website and check out the "Recap" feature from week 1's games.  Pretty nice addition, it gives a summary of all the good and the bad from the games that week.

Good luck to all of you in week two, except for my opponent!

It begins. Tonight.

So, although only half of the teams in our league have a Cowboy or Giant on their roster, there's just something about this first (real) NFL game of the season that gets everybody watching.

I'm sure many of you watched that first MLB game of the season, right?  That Cardinals vs. Marlins one-game series was epic!  :|

So, a quick reminder to set your lineup tonight if you are one of the 50% of our owners in that situation.  If you need assistance, let me know...you're all signed up, so it's just a matter of remembering your Yahoo ID, password and our league URL:

http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/league/ffcofe

For those of you with Cowboys or Giants you intend to employ in your lineup tonight, the bare minimum is getting those players in if you intend to play them.  You can put the rest in before their respective start times, but remember that you cannot use a player as you get close to their team's kickoff, so I would make it a habit of checking your lineup at least 15-30 minutes before the start of the first game your players are in that week.

Something that is supposed to be new in Yahoo! leagues this year is that free agents will still be available for pickup after the first NFL game of the week is played.

Last year, if you had a last-minute injury report that affected a player who played in say a 4:00 Sunday game, or Sunday or Monday night, you were no longer able to pick up free agents because all of them were put on waivers at 1:00 on Sunday.

Now, if the player's game hasn't kicked off, you can still pick them up.  Pretty nice change, especially for the tinkerers of the world like myself.  I would take a peek at things on Sunday to see if that is true, as it is just a rumor.

Also another reminder before 5:15 TONIGHT: make your picks in the league pick 'em.  I've already voted against the 2ยต Waverunners, in case you are wondering.  It's a tradition as old as the Lambeau Leap.

(Wait a minute...that's not old either?)

Enjoy this week, and feel free to comment to get the smack talk flowing...
