The 2012 FFCofE League Draft is tonight!

The moment you have all been waiting for as you put up with those dreadful Reds...

Fantasy Football Center of Excellence League Draft Night!!!!

With it comes this first blog entry.  If you would like to be a contributor, please feel free to let me know and I will add you as an author.  No royalties will be paid, and all traffic income goes directly into my pockets.

Feel free to come as early as 4 pm to B-Dubs in West Chester (off Union Center) to drink and eat early.  This will guarantee that your cheat sheets will get sticky before the draft.

As you can see, I mentioned cheat sheets.  BRING THEM!  Don't come unprepared!  I am considering starting up a "sin jar" at the draft, where you will need to drop a dollar in for every time you:

1) Draft someone who has already been taken
2) Ask, "Is (insert player's name) still out there?"
3) Not knowing you are up in the draft
4) Going over your allotted draft time
5) Acting like you are a C-list celeb on "Hollywood Squares" by giving a fake draft pick first.
6) Picking a kicker in the first eight rounds.
7) Picking a defense in the first eight rounds.
8) Making Houshmandzadeh, Ocho Cinco/Chad Johnson, T.O. or Favre draft jokes (unless the T.O. joke is specifically aimed at Rob Duffey)

These are fantasy football faux pas and will not be tolerated.  The proceeds will go directly to a prize for the winner of the Toilet Bowl winner.

If you haven't signed up on our league site yet, do so immediately.  Even if your house is burning down.

I will be unable to add players to teams until all teams have signed up on Yahoo.

We will end this initial post with a fun fact I'm sure all of you have heard by now: this will be the sixth season of this esteemed league, and the previous five seasons have been won by five different owners.  Chris Wetzel, Nick Ventura, Joe Cooper, Jack Knapke and Keith Von Lehmden have all claimed the championship.  Will this year see the first repeat champion, or will yet another new champ arise?

(In related news, the league is considering changing Scott Phillips' team name from "Screwdrivers" to "Bridesmaids.")

See you tonight!
